On Monday nights, women rocked their babies and watched a show started by television pioneers Lucille Ball(1911-1989)and Desi Arnaz. It was so funny that millions of people around the world still watch I Love Lucy.

There weren't many channels of TV when I was growing up but you could always be sure that when Lucy was on we were watching. She may have played a daffy house wife but she was an amazing business woman also. No one got anything over on her. She knew how to read the fin print. After a number of years, she produced her own shows and had her own studio.
