W Grade 3 ESL student T listens to Mr. M explain the features of the wing of a red tail hawk. Thomas was the only student who predicted the correct date, April 20, that the first chick would hatch in the hawk nest on the window ledge at the Franklin Institute. He has compared and contrasted the hawk nest to that of the barn owl in California. Both nests can be watched on a live camera feed.
