Abigail Adams(1744-1818) was the wife of our second president John Adams. Abigail was famous for writing, "Remember the Ladies, and be generous...to them than your ancestors. If...care is not paid... we are determined to foment a Rebellion, and will not hold ourselves bound by any laws in which we have no voice or representation." March 31, 1776
I love Abigail Adams. What a strong intelligent woman! They didn't listen to her and in the end it took us/women nearly 2 centuries to gain equal rights. They'll never get away with that again!
